What we’re looking for

SurveyMonkey is looking for a stellar Senior Payments Analyst to join the Billing & Payments Product team. A Senior Payments Analyst would discover compelling reasons to join the SurveyMonkey team, drawn by its dynamic environment and innovative approach to data collection and analysis. What you’ll be working on

  • Develop & monitor relevant credit card and payment metrics to derive actionable insights
  • Lead and support strategic value-added analyses to understand impact of payment method offerings and processes on consumer lifetime value
  • Rigorously monitor and analyze subscription revenues and purchase funnel data for all integrated payment solutions, and conduct A/B/C/D tests to achieve the targets
  • Monitor performance for payments, responding to alerts of degradation, triaging and investigating the cause, and communicating your findings to the team. 
  • Identify and automate inefficient operational processes to reduce manual workloads.
  • Transform raw data into structured information that can be analyzed to identify insights that drive strategic business decisions
  • Introduce data and process efficiencies to meet the scale and speed of SurveyMonkey.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • Advanced SQL techniques for analysis of complex business problems.
  • Knowledge and experience in data manipulation using SQL querying tools in large relational databases.
  • Prior Payments Analyst experience required. 5+ years.
  • Able to act independently to resolve highly complex problems
  • Experience in the Payments Processing Industry and experience with Cloud-based technologies such as Snowflake are nice to have, but not essential.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau preferred
  • Experience with programming languages Python or R preferred
