Platform Tennis - Intro
For All Agawam Members:
We are considering adding Platform (a.k.a Paddle) Tennis to our racquets offerings and are surveying our membership - as well as prospective members - to determine community interest in this terrific, approachable, and highly addictive sport.
As a sport typically played in the winter by Racquets players and Golfers alike, we feel Platform Tennis would be a great addition to our year-round offerings at Agawam. In the warmer months, Platform courts can be used for Platform tennis, Under-10 tennis, and Pickleball. The hut could also be used for Camp in the summer.
While it is incredibly popular all over New England, there are 19 courts at 9 locations in Rhode Island, but Platform is sorely lacking in the greater Providence area.
To gauge interest and consider a financially sound membership model, we would appreciate if all members - regardless of your exposure or interest in the sport - would take the time to answer the following questions. It should take no more than 4 - 5 minutes of your time.
