Just as a blueprint is a guide and a plan necessary to build a structure, a greenprint is a guide and a plan necessary to build regional connections and accessibility using green space. Parks, natural areas, bike lanes, walking paths, waterways, open space and more will all be included in the plan. Communities across the country are realizing the importance of these types of green space in their neighborhoods and their regions. Green spaces improve the health, safety, and property values within neighborhoods, while offering more choices for transportation and attracting more employers.
There are many options available, please choose those that you believe are best for your neighborhood and the region. Your feedback will help define community values and needs for this plan, and in turn, will help shape the future of the mid-south region.
