All stakeholders, including civil society organizations, in particular, organizations of persons with disabilities, academic institutions, and private sector entities, are invited to recommend individual experts.

It is requested that those recommended have extensive and documented working/academic experience in one or more of the areas set out above at both national and regional or international levels (at least five years or more). The candidate should have knowledge of relevant international development and economic issues and should be able to communicate well in at least one of the United Nations’ official languages. Work experience in various sectors, including government, non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, and the private sector would be valued. The recommendation of candidates from developing countries is especially encouraged.
The Secretariat is currently accepting submissions up to 15 May 2013. Submissions will be reviewed and followed-up with an email to request further information, as needed.
