Player Welfare, over use, over training has been discussed for many years now. Solutions have been minimal. Freshers cannot play Sigerson... helps transition from Minor to HE. U16 cannot play County Minor. WHAT OTHER SOLUTIONS CAN BE IMPLEMENTED, LEGISLATED FOR OR AGREED. The following in to provoke debate in the absence of solutions over the last 10 years.................. please contribute your solutions

U16 Club should not overlap with Rannafast in Schools and U16 Provincial Club (Paul McGirr) in October
MacRory Cup should not overlap with U18 Provincial (St. Pauls) in January
U21 County preparation should not overlap with HE Freshers and with U21 Provincial Club (Creggan) in January
Competitions scheduling and team preparation period needs to be tied down tightly to avoid conflict
U21 County preparation overlaps with Sigerson Preparation and McKenna Cup Competition in January

Participation restricted to pupils in the last two years of school.
Players should not have to make choices between School and Club.
Volume of training should be specified and controlled.
All Coaches should sign a heads of agreement on player welfare.
Coaches should have a level 1 coaching award.
Hogan Cup Competition should be completed by 17 March.
