If you favor accreditation, what would you like to see it used for, or why do you think it's important? Libraries that can't currently meet accreditation standards should/would get support from OLA and/or the State Library, to help them gain accreditation. Accredited libraries would have access to public funds allocated through the State Library, or would have priority status for these funds. Accreditation would raise the library's profile with elected officials. Accreditation would put libraries on an equal footing with other municipal departments which are also accredited. Accreditation would make us look more professional to non-librarians. Accreditation would give more teeth to the standards. Other (please specify) Done
