Thank you for participating in the consultation on the draft PHECC Teaching Faculty Framework 2014/15 Edition.
One of the main components of effective pre-hospital emergency care is the ability to provide consistency and continuity of teaching standards. This can be best achieved if the Faculty responsible for teaching are developed through common professional competencies and standards. This 2014/15 edition of the Teaching Faculty Framework will set in place a dynamic, co-ordinated and well defined model to support the training requirements of PHECC qualifications and the professional career development of Faculty members.
In order to provide consistency and continuity of teaching standards, all Faculty members will need to meet specific criteria, which can be objectively measured and assessed. The introduction of the 2014/15 edition of the Teaching Faculty Framework will ensure consistency and stability applies across all PHECC Recognised Institutions with responsibility for teaching and training candidates for NQEMT awards and course completion certificates at responder level.
Your contribution to the consultation is very important to ensure the relevance and validity of the framework. Responses to this consultation will be used to further develop the framework. The results of this feedback will inform PHECC Committees and Council prior to consideration and approval.
