The Nib: Waverley Library Award for Literature Feedback Survey |
Dear Nib Supporter,
As a recent nominator to the Nib Literary Award or someone who may have an interest in The Nib, we hope you will complete this short survey. We are undertaking a review of the Award and would appreciate your feedback to help us ensure that the Award remains relevant in a changing publishing environment.
As you may be aware, The Nib Waverley Library Award for Literature was established in 2002. The Award criteria of excellence in literary research, literary merit, readability and value to the community, set it apart from most other awards. These criteria may be applied to all genres of writing.
The Nib currently offers a $20,000 winner's prize, an Alex Buzo Prize to the six short listed authors and a People's Choice award.
We undertake extensive community engagement, via the award, in the promotion of Australian authors, reading and writing, and literary appreciation. Full details about the Award are included on the Award web page www.waverley.nsw.gov.au/nib
We would be grateful if this survey could be undertaken by Friday 15 August. Your feedback will be very helpful in planning the Nib for 2015.
Thank you for your help.
