PURPOSE
You are being asked to participate in a preliminary research study. I hope to identify universal themes in adoption narratives to promote healthier adoption practices and outcomes for families involved in the adoption process as well as for adoptees.

PURPOSE

PROCEDURES
If you decide to volunteer, you will be asked to complete a brief survey and provide your adoption story.
RISKS
As a participant, it is important to understand that participation in this project presents no known health risks. However, it is also important to know that some topics or questions asked may create some discomfort. As such, you can refuse to answer any questions at any time.
BENEFITS
It is possible that you will not benefit directly by participating in this study.
CONFIDENTIALITY
The data collected in this study will be accessed only by the researcher. The data will be anonymous, and may be used in reports, presentations, and publications.
COSTS/COMPENSATION
There is no cost to you beyond the time and effort required to complete the procedure(s) described above.
RIGHT TO REFUSE OR WITHDRAW
