San Francisco Summer Learning Network Registration Form
Summer is just around the corner, and the San Francisco Summer Learning Network is gearing up for another exciting season!
In order to enjoy the benefits of the Summer Learning Network this season, we are asking all agencies to update their membership information, or register to be a new member.
Both returning and new members can register their information via this Registration Form.
What are advantages of membership in the Summer Learning Network?
1) Possible acess to special benefits including free admissions to events and cultural institutions
2) Access to free professional development and program planning events
3) A network of providers who share summer activity tools, tips and resources
What are the responsibilities of Summer Learning Network Members?
1) Support the importance of summer learning by sharing information, resources and ideas with other summer providers
2) Working on the “Countdown for Summer” with all the children and youth in my program. The Countdown means your program incorporates:
5 days a week of active play
4 new places to visit
3 fresh fruits and veggies daily
2 summer projects
1 once a day with a good book
0 soda
3) Post information about your summer program on SFKids.org so that families and youth know about all of their summer program options (To update or add information about your summer program, go to http://www.sfkids.org/Content.aspx?id=8764)
4) Host a national Summer Learning Day awareness event at your program during the week of June 21st (For more information and to register your event, go to http://www.summerlearning.org/?page=summer_learning_day)
