Introduction to the Memorial Park Neighborhood Survey
The City of Santa Monica’s Strategic and Transportation Planning Division is initiating the Memorial Park Neighborhood Plan (MPNP), a planning process for envisioning the neighborhood circulation and land uses surrounding Memorial Park and the future Expo light rail station at 17th St and Colorado Ave. The specific plan boundaries are: Colorado Avenue to the north, Olympic Drive to the south, 17th Street to the east and 14th Street to the west. Expanded boundaries of the plan will include 17th Street from Pico to Wilshire and Colorado Avenue from 20th to Lincoln to study optimal multi-modal connections to the future light rail station. The City invites you to participate in the planning process and will be reaching out to the community and stakeholders over the next several months for your feedback and ideas.
