Welcome!

The shortage of accessible, adequate affordable, housing in Canada has been widely recognized as a national crisis. The rise in cost of living specifically relating to housing, coupled with the general decay of existing affordable housing stocks in cities and communities all across Canada has added to the urgent need for a coordinated approach. Canada remains the only major industrialized country without a national housing strategy. The Canadian AIDS Society (CAS), together with key partners, is working to support the call for a national housing strategy, one that takes the needs of people at risk and living with HIV/AIDS into consideration (To view the CAS report HIV and Housing: Toward a National Housing Strategy click here).

In order for our work to reflect the voices of the HIV/AIDS community in Canada, we are seeking input from stakeholders across the country on housing issues. People at risk and living with HIV/AIDS, their family and friends, service providers, and others interested in HIV/AIDS and housing issues are invited to complete this short survey. Your opinions and ideas are very important to us. They will play a key role in framing our work in support of a national housing strategy as well as shaping the housing related programming offered by CAS. Your participation will involve answering a series of mostly open-ended questions. Completing the survey will require roughly 20 minutes of your time.

Participation is anonymous and voluntary. You will have the option to exit the survey at any time by clicking the exit link provided. If you return to the survey at a later date from the same computer, your information will have been saved.
