ROCHESTER ARTS & CULTURAL COLLABORATIVE
Spaces Team
Needs/Use Assessment
TO ARTS ORGANIZATION REPRESENTATIVES AND INDIVIDUAL ARTISTS; I am working with a group from the Rochester Arts and Cultural Collaborative (RACC). We are in the process of gathering relevant information to include in a formal proposal to the Rochester City Council regarding the current Senior Center or Armory Building. The Senior Center will be moving into a yet-to-be-built-but funded building sometime in 2016. The current building, owned by the city, has been deemed a perfect fit for usage by art organizations and individuals in the area. Individual and shared offices, equipment, as well as meeting, commercial kitchen and performance space are all contained within the 3 floors. It is handicap accessible, fully wi-fi ready and in good shape. We don't see the need for any remodeling at this point.
What we are asking you is to complete the form below and provide a short statement of who you are, what you do and a note of interest. EXAMPLE: Debi Neville, local writer and producer, director of performances would be very interested in potentially using the facility known as "The Armory". In the past I have produced performances in Rochester at various venues and in the area at various facilities. I have also worked on a "Gathering of Writers" instructional collaborative. Meeting, rehearsal and performance space is needed. This information will be used as back up and reference in planning for the building. It in no way constitutes a commitment or obligation, only interest. Thank you for supporting the ARTS in the Rochester area.
