INFORMED CONSENT TO PARTICIPATE IN
Political Diversity Among Psychology Faculty
A student research project on political diversity among university faculty is being conducted by Nate Honeycutt in the Department of Psychology and Child Development at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, under the direct supervision of Dr. Laura Freberg. The purpose of the study is to replicate and extend the recently reported findings by Inbar and Lammer (2012) in a paper entitled, “Political Diversity in Social and Personality Psychology,” published in Perspectives in Psychological Science.
You are being asked to take part in this study by completing an online questionnaire. Your participation will take approximately 15 minutes. Please be aware that you are not required to participate in this research and you may discontinue your participation at any time without penalty. You may also omit any items on the questionnaire you prefer not to answer.
The possible risks associated with participation in this study include possible emotional distress.
