On Saturday, the Parliament unanimously endorsed a strong Jan Lokpal: a historic victory for people-powered democracy in India!

Avaaz empowers millions of people from all walks of life to take action on pressing global, regional and national issues, from corruption and poverty to conflict and climate change. Since April, we have, together, been campaigning to pass a strong anti-corruption bill in India. Now we have a chance to regroup and decide our next steps.
