Yes, though hesitantly. There is only one way that I can see it being advantageous over lower energy fields and that is if the beam must traverse through significant tissue (15-20+ cm)and < a few cm of lung (ideally, no lung) prior to reaching the target. Please look at p. 228-229 Khan 4th Edition Ch 12 B.3. & B.4
