Community Feedback Questionnaire
Earlier this year, the Woodburn City Council authorized an update to the community center concept plan that was first developed a number of years ago.
In an effort to engage the Woodburn community in the project, the City conducted numerous public meetings to gather input. During the last round of public meetings, staff gathered feedback from community members about the amenities they would like to see in a community center. Utilizing that information, we developed an updated community center concept drawing that we would like to review with local residents.
The updated concept would expand the Aquatic Center from 20,000 sq. ft. to 80,000 sq. ft. and would include the following amenities:

- Two multi-purpose gymnasium courts for basketball, futsal, volleyball, an other active recreation activities
- Walking / jogging track above the gymnasium
- Large cardio/ resistance training and group fitness class spaces
- Large dividable multi-purpose event & meeting rooms with kitchen
- Dedicated senior center and meals on wheels space that includes a kitchen
- Multi-purpose classrooms that can be used for a wide range of meetings, trainings and classes
- A dedicated space for the Boys and Girls Club
- Much more!
