Baseball Victoria is pleased to open 2023/24 BV Development Grant applications. This funding program helps member clubs and associations implement activities and events aimed at driving participation and the growth of our sport at a grassroots level.

Baseball Victoria will prioritise applications detailing inclusion initiatives and activities/events promoting female participation.
1. Can a player apply for these grants?
No, applications will not be accepted from individuals. Member clubs, winter clubs, and member associations may submit applications.
2. Do applications have to be summited through this form?
Yes, in order to make this process as simple and straightforward as possible, we ask that all applicants submit their application through this form. This allows us to process applications efficiently and makes it simple to attach necessary documents. 3. When do the funds need to be used by?
All successful applicants will receive the funds upfront. The event or activity must be completed within 12 months of receiving the grant, and after that date, any unspent funds must be returned to Baseball Victoria.
4. Can this funding be used to pay for facilities?
No, Baseball Victoria Development Grants are not available for facilities, uniforms, or equipment other than baseball equipment. Equipment such as computer software or recurring/ongoing costs of a club or organisation are not funded. Funding is also unavailable for attending events as competitors such as tournaments and showcases.
5. Can this money be used for come and try days?
Yes, these grants may be used for activities designed to increase participation, such as but not limited to: come and try days, gala events, women's programs, club-driven school events, and baseball equipment.
6. Do we need to submit a report on our activity if successful?
Yes, all successful applicants will need to complete a report and end-of-term acquittal, which will be provided by Baseball Victoria at the start of the program.
7. Will we have to meet more requirements if accepted?
Yes, all grant recipients must agree to the recipient requirements and complete a program evaluation form.
8. Do we have to take photos of our activity?
Yes, we kindly encourage all grant recipients to engage in any process of sharing project details with the broader baseball community, such as photos or social media posts.
