JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Marketing Intern is to provide Digital Marketing & Public Relations support for the company. Duties of this role include writing content (including, but not limited to press releases, client email campaigns, company newsletters), social media, photography and graphics support.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Digital Marketing
• Prepare content and copy for Wespac social media; including traveling to jobsites, company events, etc.
• Develop Wespac e-mail campaigns
• Support for additional marketing efforts as needed, including collateral content, photography, video, etc.

Public Relations/Communications
• Write and coordinate press releases for Wespac (i.e.: projects won, project highlight stories, building dedications, groundbreakings, staff news, etc.)
• Work with technical and marketing staff to develop case studies

SKILLS/ ABILITIES
• Pursuing bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications or related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (press releases, blogs, etc.)
• Strong organization, goal-setting and time management skills
• Reliable, passionate and enthusiastic
• Self-starter; ability to work effectively in a teaming environment, as well as independently with limited direction
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office & Adobe Creative Suite is preferred

Time commitment:  16 Hours Per Week (dependent upon school schedule)
