Weight-loss Study Pre-screening Survey

Apex Trials is conducting a study in adults 18+ to explore the safety, efficacy, tolerability, and absorption profile of a novel oral weight loss drug in those living with obesity or who are overweight and have at least 1 weight-related comorbidity.

The study will involve a total of 21 visits to our clinic (located in Guelph, Ontario) over a period of up to 42 weeks (including 36 weeks of study intervention). Blood draws will be performed at all visits. If you complete the study in its entirety, reasonable compensation will be provided for your time and travel to the clinic.

If you are interested in participating in this study, the following questions will help us determine if you qualify. Please provide complete and honest answers to the questions to ensure this study is a good fit for you. All information collected will be kept confidential and will not be shared without your permission except as required by law. The questionnaire will take approximately 3 to 8 minutes to complete. Your answers will be recorded, but your information will only be used for the purposes of this study.
