Thank you for your interest!

NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly is forming a new Lived Experience Group to ensure that diverse voices directly shape local health and care decisions.

This group will provide an informal platform for individuals to share their lived experiences, helping to inform and improve decision-making processes.

The group is particularly seeking input from individuals with experience in areas such as:
  • Criminal justice system
  • Racial or identity discrimination
  • Leaving care
  • Physical disability
  • Migrant work
  • Being displaced i.e as a refugee
  • Elderly care
  • Poverty
  • Neurodiversity
  • Learning disabilities
  • Drug & alcohol use
  • Housing insecurity
  • Mental ill health
By joining, participants will have the opportunity to share their insights, participate in workshops, and help design services that better meet the needs of the community.

This initiative reflects NHS Cornwall & Isles of Scilly's commitment to inclusive engagement and co-production, ensuring that health and care services are shaped by those who know them best—people with real-world experience.
