WCAG Usability Survey 1. Introduction English Español (España) Français (France) Português (Brasil) 日本語 한국어 Page1 / 8 The Silver Task Force of the W3C Accessibility Guidelines Working Group is researching requirements for the next generation W3C Accessibility Guidelines. As part of this work, we invite people who are familiar with WCAG 2.0 to complete the following 10 to 15 minute survey. Please read the information below before participating in the survey. The primary objective of the survey is to gather perceptions of ease-of-use of W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, by asking about the following usability attributes for each of the Level A and Level AA WCAG 2.0 success criteria: Learnability: How easy is it to learn the success criteria? Memorability: How easy is it to reestablish proficiency with the success criteria after a period of time? Teachability: How easy is it to teach the success criteria to others? In this survey, we are not asking about how easy it is to implement the WCAG 2.0 success criteria in a particular setting or with a particular technology. That will be the subject of separate research. The first section (pages 2 to 4) of the survey collects information about you. The main section of the survey (pages 5 to 7) has three pages, and each page presents a list of the WCAG 2.0 success criteria (level A and AA). The first page asks you to select all success criteria you found easy to learn, the second page asks you to select all success criteria you find easy to remember, and the third page asks you to select all success criteria you find easy to teach others. Any success criteria you do not select will not be included in our data. We are interested in your current perceptions of which success criteria are easy to learn, remember, and teach. If you are not familiar with a success criteria then do not select the corresponding checkbox. Do not look up success criteria in order to respond. The final section (page 8) is optional, and offers an opportunity for you to provide details for any success criterion you wish to comment on.Your responses will be kept strictly confidential.Participation in this survey is voluntary. You may withdraw from the survey at any time.
