1.Introduction
The Village of Fishkill recently enacted a moratorium on development in the Village Center Business District (VCBD District) to take the time for community engagement and visioning for the future of the area. This effort will guide upcoming revisions to the Village of Fishkill Zoning Laws affecting the Village Center Business District. The survey is designed to first ask questions about the entire VCBD District, and then to ask questions specifically about the area of the VCBD District that is west of Jackson Street or the area of Main Street past the M&T Bank building. We invite residents and members of the community to share their thoughts about the VCBD District by completing this survey. Your input will be anonymous and will help guide the planning team’s work and shape the long‑term vision for the Village Main Street.
