Interested in improving the profitability and long-term resilience of your vegetable or onion business? |
Level Up Hort (the National vegetable and onion benchmarking program MT22009) is a new five-year project which aims to help you to take your business to the next level. Every business has a vision, whether to expand or grow more profit from every dollar invested, but to make it a reality, you need to pinpoint what elements of your business can help you reach your goals.
Participation in the project will provide you with the opportunity to:
Link with independent and highly qualified farm business consultants who will provide an in-depth review of your farming business and identify the factors affecting your production efficiencies, profit and growth.
Learn more about your business and use the data to gain a deep understanding of the impacts of how your data-driven management decisions can, over time, make your business more efficient, more profitable and better able to cope with challenging seasons and market unpredictability.
Leverage to improve your business performance by achieving greater control and influence over the factors that turn small returns into higher profits and grow your business wealth over time.
Your de-identified data (with no identifiable features such as farm size or location, price per kilogram) will be combined with other vegetable and onion businesses across Australia to produce national benchmarks for vegetables and onions which will highlight business analytics on a per hectare basis.
This service will be provided by Western Australian farm business consulting firm Planfarm, in partnership with RMCG. We take confidentiality seriously. Results will only be reported in aggregate form to ensure that individual businesses cannot be identified in the industry benchmark reports.
This project has been funded by Hort Innovation, using the vegetable and onion research and development levy and contributions from the Australian Government. Hort Innovation is the grower-owned, not-for-profit research and development corporation for Australian horticulture. Project number MT22009.
