The VS6 Partnership are pleased to share the final draft of the next Liverpool City Region VCFSE Manifesto for 2024-2028:

A VCFSE Manifesto for Liverpool City Region

This manifesto has been developed over the past few months utilising our learnings from the delivery of our previous manifesto, research, and consultation with the VCFSE sector over the last three years on various topics, and the recent Cheshire & Merseyside State of the Sector report where almost 300 organisations from across the region were surveyed. We have designed the manifesto to be flexible, learning from COVID and cost of living crisis, to be able to respond with agility to local and national developments when needed, as well as being more focused.

At our LCR VCFSE Metro Mayor Hustings event on 26th March, we presented this final draft to all Metro Mayor candidates from the major parties (Conservative, Green, Labour and Liberal Democrats). All candidates signed up to show support for VS6 and the VCFSE sector in the delivery of this manifesto and recognised the importance of the VCFSE sector in improving economic, health and social outcomes for communities in Liverpool City Region.

This short survey is an opportunity for groups to share any final thoughts on the manifesto prior to its finalisation and publication. A separate document will be produced and shared following the publication of the manifesto which will detail how we will deliver and achieve the manifesto aims, working in collaboration with the VCFSE sector, the Combined Authority and NHS Cheshire & Merseyside.

Please make sure you have read the latest version of the manifesto (linked above) before completing this survey.

Thank you.
