The Houston Independent School District and Houston Education Research Consortium (HERC) at Rice University are requesting your participation in a study of Literacy by 3 in HISD.
If you choose to be in the study, you will complete a short questionnaire. The purpose of this questionnaire is to better understand the instructional experiences of students in HISD. The data collected are not intended to serve as an evaluation of any particular teacher, but to help researchers understand the experiences of pre-k through 5th grade students in HISD. Your participation will provide researchers an opportunity to conduct high quality research on an often understudied area in education research. The questionnaire will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
You can skip questions that you do not want to answer or stop the survey at any time. The questionnaire is anonymous. Please do not include your name or other information that could be used to identify you in the questionnaire responses. This research study is voluntary. Please tell the researcher if you do not want to participate.
