Introductory Questions

Thank You
Thanks for taking a few minutes to be part of this fourth annual survey of foreigners living in Taiwan. With your participation we continue to learn more about foreigner life in Taiwan. The survey should take about ten to fifteen minutes to complete and will be open through April 25, 2018. This is an anonymous survey and no information that could be used to personally identify respondents will be collected. Please pass this along to your friends after you complete the survey and encourage them to participate also.

Who should take this survey?
This survey is for people over the age of 18 years old who are currently living away from their home country (country of origin). So, even though you may have lived in Taiwan for a majority of your life, please take the survey!

If you were born in Taiwan and your first language was Mandarin, Taiwanese or another language native to Taiwan and you have a Taiwanese passport, then for the purposes of this survey, please do not take the survey.

The survey will be open for input for approximately three weeks, afterwards, the results will be posted on taichungexpat.com. Whatever your definition of an expat is, for this survey, it includes anyone who meets these criteria.

Thank you for your participation. If you find flaws or errors in the survey, please let me know and I will correct them as quickly as possible.
