Taber Regional Airport Expansion Feasibility Study / Master Plan

The M.D. of Taber is the owner and operator of Taber Regional Airport. To assist in its progressive governance and administration of this regional asset, the M.D. and Town of Taber have jointly commissioned the preparation of an Airport Expansion Feasibility Study / Master Plan with the support of HM Aero Aviation Consulting to:
  1. Assess the airport’s current role and value to the region;
  2. Identify opportunities to increase its economic impact, social benefits, and revenues; and
  3. Develop a costed multiyear strategy that identifies recommended initiatives in response to the priorities of community members, businesses, stakeholders, and municipalities.

Community engagement is an important component of the project. HM Aero and the M.D. of Taber are collecting input from residents on their perspectives regarding the future of the airport. This information will be analyzed by the project team and used to support the preparation of the Airport Expansion Feasibility Study / Master Plan.

Participation is voluntary and all answers will remain anonymous. The information collected will only be used by HM Aero and the M.D. of Taber in the context of the Airport Expansion Feasibility Study / Master Plan and associated airport-related initiatives.
