SB 707 (Newman): Responsible Textile Recovery Act of 2024 is a first-of-its kind extended producer responsibility (EPR) program which will require producers to establish a program for the collection, repair, reuse and recycling of post-consumer textiles. SB 707 will set global precedent by establishing standards for green design and responsible management of textiles.
SB 707 which will set national precedent by establishing the first Textile EPR program in the country. Tell your elected officials at the local, state, and federal levels to notify them you are supporting a proposed solution to the textile waste problem that will go up for vote in 2024.
