The Friends of the Southbury Public Library are a 502c3 nonprofit organization. Our mission is to support the library, funding its programs through the sale of donated books at our year-round lobby sale and annual book sale. 

Many of our unsold books are donated to a nonprofit that delivers them to schools in Kenya. We are considering financially supporting the nonprofit by storing and shipping the books.
