SONOCHAKRAVYUH 2019

Welcome to the National Point of Care Sonography competition for Emergency Medicine Residency Programmes.
 
Team Sonochakravyuh welcomes you for taking an interest in participating in this innovative competition. You will be competing with various EM Residency programmes around the country.
 
 Last year we had an exciting and nail-biting competition when around 18 residency programs competed for the prestigious title.
 
The competition is base on the principle of "gamification" an educational theory which will ultimately enhance your knowledge and confidence in point of care ultrasound skills. 
 
Competition is designed on the basis of an old Indian battle formation Chakravyuh. Each round will have an increasing level of difficulty. You and your team will battle it out in front of hundreds of spectators to prove your mastery in emergency sonography to become SonoChamps and bring home the Sono-Arjuna Award!
 
Each team can have a maximum of 3 participants.
 
There will be a total of 6 stations in the preliminary round where you will have to do hands-on ultrasound on live models. After the first/Preliminary round, 4 Teams will be selected to the final 2 round. The event will take place at Anatomy Dissection hall  AIIMS New Delhi between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm. All participants are requested to report sharp at 400pm.In case of any queries please contact Dr Manu +919846556133 or Dr Vimal Krishnan +919995389984.
 
 
Final 2 round you will be assessed on your Sono teaching skills, speed and also would involve a complete simulation scenario.
 
We recommend you choose a team name and also be in scrubs or any uniform costume which will add excitement and competitive spirit to the event.
 
Exciting prizes will be awarded to the best team names and teams who come in scrubs or any uniform costume.

A one-time registration fee of 1000Rs per candidate needs to be remitted through the link provided at the end of the survey for confirming the registration.
