Volunteering at my local community garden

Volunteering to help remove non-native plants in my local mountains

Removing lawn and installing native plants

Using preventative measures to keep rodents from yard and home: keep trash covered, barbecues clean and covered, pet food inside and seal up holes so rats cannot get inside to nest

Eliminating any form of poison – there is no “good” poison. Using electric trap, if necessary.

Adding an owl box, if appropriate, to my yard or talking with a community group to find
a shared location.
