Have Your Say!

The “Smart Villages Training Programme for Rural Dublin” is an initiative led by Fingal LEADER Partnership in association with KPMG Future Analytics.

The project addresses the unique challenges facing Ireland’s rural regions today. With support under the Rural Development (LEADER) Programme 2014-2020, this programme aims to further strengthen the capacity of local communities to unlock innovative new solutions for the sustainable growth and development of rural areas across Dublin.

Specifically, the training will provide communities across Fingal, South Dublin and Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown with the knowledge and skills needed to produce their own Smart Village Action Plans. These Plans, once finalised, can be used by local communities to guide their efforts in seeking Government funding for various community initiatives.

One of rural Dublin’s greatest assets is the people that make up its communities. It is important that your voice helps to shape the Smart Villages Training Programme and its outcomes.  We wish to hear from you – the local community – on your thoughts and views on the strengths and opportunities for rural Dublin, and your suggestions for what the region needs to make it a thriving place to live, work and prosper.

Please complete this survey and help us to build an evidence base for these Smart Village Action Plans. We will be presenting the anonymous results of this survey at our forthcoming in-person workshops in June.

This survey is anonymous, and no one will be able to identify you or your answers. Your participation in this study is voluntary. If for any reason you do not wish to complete a question, please feel free to move onto the next question.

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Cailean Keaveney at cailean.keaveney@kpmg.ie.

Thank you very much in advance for your participation. Your inputs are invaluable in helping to shape the outcomes of this project.
