Plans are in the works for a fenced space for dogs at the Old Showfield. This was one of the most requested ideas when we talked to people about the showfield earlier this year. People asked for a safe area to train and socialise their dogs, especially puppies and dogs that need some recall practice. There were also many requests for doggy exercise equipment to help keep dogs mentally stimulated and physically fit.

The Old Showfield is next to Frome Medical Centre and includes several fields. The dog area is proposed for the field farthest from the medical centre, next to the field with the Platinum Jubilee blossom circle.
