Safe Clean Water: N. Sepulveda Pedestrian Island

The Safe Clean Water: North Sepulveda Pedestrian Island project is a multi-benefit project that will provide urban runoff treatment, green space, and improved access to public transit.
The beautification elements of the project will include new trees & native vegetation, and a permeable paver bus stop waiting area. All of the trees, shrubs, and perennials choices are native to Southern California.
Some of the factors that were evaluated when choosing these possible species included blooming season, lifespan, wildlife supported/hosted, aesthetics, etc. The goal is to have diversity in all of these factors to provide biodiversity and aesthetic benefits year-round. All species are considered low or very low water use.
We want YOUR help to determine what species of trees and shrubs will be planted to beautify the community, and what color pavers will be used at the bus stop!
Please complete the survey to let us know what type of beautification elements you prefer, and share the survey with friends & family.
