OFFICE/ADMINISTRATIVE
Could include reception, telephone work, mails, filing, project support, outbound call projects, data entry, research and other computer work. Weekdays, regular business hours only.
DRIVERS ASSISTANT
Accompany our drivers on a Second Harvest Truck helping to pick up food and make delivers across Toronto. Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. Start times: Weekdays 7:45am, Saturday 8:30am, Sunday 9:00am
FOOD SORTING
Sort and repack donated food to be prepared for delivery
VIRTUAL/REMOTE WORK FROM HOME
Volunteer virtually by assisting with administrative projects and calling campaigns. Must have access to a computer.
FOOD RESCUE
Assist with transporting surplus food from food donors to community organizations. Rescues can be transported by foot, bike or vehicle.
GROUP VOLUNTEERING
Organize a group of friends, colleagues or family members to volunteer for a food sort or at one of our Second Harvest events. Subject to availability, conditions may apply.
COMMUNITY EVENTS
Represent Second Harvest at events around the GTA by working the information table or helping with other general tasks, including silent auctions, ticket sales and collecting donations.
EVENT SUPPORT
Help out on event day at one of our Second Harvest run events or at a community event.
TEAM LEADER
Team Leads are responsible for training volunteers on site, providing guidance throughout the shift and act as a liaison with Second Harvest staff.
COMMUNITY AMBASSADOR
Represent Second Harvest in the community through public speaking and outreach initiatives, including volunteer fairs, trade shows, community events and more.
YOUTH OPPORTUNITIES
Achieve your community service hours by volunteering on the truck, at our events or in our warehouse – must be minimum 16 years of age.
WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT
Help keep our warehouse clean by helping with sweeping, sorting organics and recycling.
