SALAA Youth Volunteers

The SALAA Youth Volunteer program is an initiative created to empower current and former athletes of Little Athletics SA aged 14-18 to develop their skills in a variety of areas within our organisation including, coaching, officiating, event management, administration, and marketing.
Youth Volunteers will receive education and mentorship opportunities to develop their skills as coaches and officials. Opportunities will also be available for Youth Volunteers to work alongside SALAA staff in preparation for and during our State Events.
This program allows Youth Volunteers to develop skills and gain accreditations necessary to contribute to their Little Athletics Clubs as a support coach, official or Tiny Tot Coordinator. Whilst also representing Little Athletics South Australia at State Events, Little Athletics SA Academy & other events.
To be eligible for the SALAA Youth Volunteer program, the participant must be aged between 14-18 and currently involved with a Little Athletics Club, whether that be as an athlete, coach, official or volunteer.
