NOVICE: I am new to pickleball with minimal experience and am still learning the basic rules and scoring. I can keep the ball in play, but with limited control and direction.

INTERMEDIATE: I am comfortable with the rules and scoring. I hit forehands and backhands with moderate control and consistency. I’m starting to develop a dink game and understand the importance of soft play.

ADVANCED: I have control and consistency. I place shots strategically and understand different court positions. I can handle a variety of paces and spins and use tactics to gain an advantage.

EXPERT: I regularly compete in tournaments and aim for high placements. I have a well-developed arsenal of shots, Anticipate my opponent’s strategy and adjust my game plan accordingly. I excel at mental toughness and maintain composure under pressure
