Recreational Surfer's are on the beach from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year and we know they are often the first responders in an emergency situation.
Surfers are responsible for hundreds of thousands of unsung rescues and we want get better data on when, where and how often these rescues occur.
This includes:
- Assisting someone out of a rip or out of the impact zone
- Rescuing an unconscious water users
- Administering CPR
