The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) maintains a list of reportable diseases and conditions that must be reported by healthcare providers and facilities. The MSDH Reportable Disease List outlines which diseases are reportable to MSDH, contains MSDH’s contact information (including after-hours), and the timeframes in which the diseases and conditions should be reported to MSDH. This list is posted on the MSDH website and is updated periodically based on public health events and disease trends.

The purpose of this survey is to evaluate the current MSDH Reportable Disease List format, and determine if improvements should be made to it. With your input, MSDH can address any issues identified. All responses to this survey will be confidential and aggregated when analyzed. You can refer to the list here.
