Information
Purpose:
This study is part of a research project funded by the Research Council of Norway at the University of Bergen in Norway. The purpose of this particular study is to examine the social and cultural implications of new AI technologies, especially how such technologies might impact cultural understandings of social relationships, life and death.
The data gathered will be used in a doctoral dissertation to be completed at the University of Bergen in Norway.
Procedures:
Participation in the study will involve filling out an online survey that will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
If you are interested in helping us more with the study, after completing the survey, you will have the option to leave your email address so that we may contact you to set up a more in-depth research interview.

There are no known risks associated with participating in this study.
The benefits of participating include contributing to the knowledge and understanding of how people interact with new AI technologies, as well as how these interactions are shaping our conceptions of life and death.

Confidentiality:
Your answers in the survey will be kept confidential and anonymous. We will not store any identifying information such as your name or email address.
Your answers will be kept on a secure server and only the researchers will have access to the data. Any potential identifying information, and your email address if you chose to include it, will be deleted upon completion of the study.
