INTRODUCTION
The 2018 Pan Pacific Masters Games was a tremendous success attracting 16,000 participants across 42 sports. Events Management Queensland contracted host organisations to present each of these sports. All agreements made with these sport organisations have now expired.
Sports are now being considered for the 2020 Games and organisations that have the potential and desire to deliver a sport competition at the 2020 Pan Pacific Masters Games to be held from 6-15 November, 2020 are encouraged to submit an application via the online form to follow.
No organisation will be granted automatic appointment into the 2020 Pan Pacific Masters Games. Being the only applicant for a particular sport will not guarantee appointment. Each applicant must demonstrate the capacity and capability to meet all the elements required of a “host organisation”.
Where two or more organisations submit an application for the same sport, Events Management Queensland reserves the right to request additional information to assist the Board in making a final determination.
Where the application allows for open-ended answers please detail (facts, figures and examples) how your organisation can meet the criteria specified. Please include as much detail as you can to ensure that you submit a really clear picture of your proposed sport competition and the ability of your organisation to deliver this competition. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
