Background

Bega Valley Shire Council is seeking to understand what residents think about pet recreation areas in the shire and how they use them. Feedback will inform a review of Council’s Companion Animal Control Area Procedure.

While a companion animal is any animal that shares a living environment and relationship with humans, the procedure being reviewed focuses specifically on pet cats and dogs.

The survey will help us understand your thoughts about animal compliance and safety, and how you use the current pet recreation areas.

It takes about 10 minutes to complete and asks questions on a diverse range of topics.

Once all survey responses are reviewed, a report will be presented to Council for consideration.
