Period Management and Stigma Survey
About
This survey seeks to better understand attitudes and experiences around menstruation (periods), held by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young women, girls, trans men and non-binary people who get a period.
It has been written by Aboriginal women and will be reviewed and used to inform potential solutions around issues related to managing your period, by Aboriginal women. We respect and acknowledge that talking about women's business is private and personal and if you are uncomfortable in answering these questions, you are welcome to exit out of the survey at anytime.
This survey will address questions of your access to sanitary items, your perspective on the stigma or shame associated with periods and ask your opinions on some possible solutions to issues related to periods.
Please only complete this survey if you identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
NOTE: All information provided in this survey is completely confidential. It is being conducted by Aboriginal Agency, Cox Inall Ridgeway and the results will not be published.
