The Town of Okotoks (Town) is starting work on a 5-Year Tourism Strategy & Action Plan; your input will contribute directly to its development.
The Town is focusing on the growing importance of tourism as a cornerstone of its local economy. Tourism is identified as a key sector for economic growth in the Town’s Economic Development Strategic Plan, highlighting potential untapped opportunities and areas for improvement. This survey is meant to gain your input on a wide variety of thoughts around:
--Current and future state of tourism,
--Vision for the tourism sector,
--Opportunities, gaps, challenges,
--Understand revenue generating activities, and activities which support tourism (e.g. parks, etc.)
--Value of the tourism sector to your business or organization,
--Leadership, roles and responsibilities,
--Financial resources (how are we going to fund marketing, programs, development to grow tourism)
--GAIN INSPIRATION!!
