The NextGen program was created by Climate Control News to recognise talented technicians and apprentices that represent the industry’s next generation of outstanding RAC professionals. Once again NextGen has been sponsored by peak industry body the Australian Refrigeration Council, which is committed to promoting trade excellence.
NextGen promotes RAC as a great career by showcasing our best and brightest. Each year technicians from around Australia are invited to nominate to be a part of CCN’s Top 20 technicians under 25 years of age.
How to nominate
Nominations are open to all technicians and apprentices (under the age of 25) who have demonstrated excellence in all aspects of their trade and training.
Successful candidates will be profiled in CCN's April 2025 edition and online. Nominees must demonstrate:
Outstanding performance in the workplace
Technical expertise and team work
Ability to be an ambassador for the RAC sector
