Project Overview
Generously supported by the National Endowment for the Arts for a third year, this specialized grant will make funds available for collaborative, arts-and-culture-based projects in Phoenix neighborhoods. This grant hopes to showcase the creativity and culture in Phoenix neighborhoods. For the 2020 application, all awarded projected must activate a Phoenix park with an arts and culture experience.
Neighborhood Arts project ideas: one-day event, festival, literary gathering, concert, oral history storytelling project, or workshop--but must be activated at a City of Phoenix park. Competitive projects generate significant community engagement with high artistic quality that emphasizes collaborative processes.
