Please read the guidelines and timeframe for nominations carefully. Cases nominated must: 
Involve issues that NCMEC works to combat:
• Missing children
• Unidentified children
• Child sex trafficking
• Online child sexual exploitation

A resolution or prosecution that took place between Jan. 1, 2022 and Dec. 31, 2022.
The case should not be jeopardized by any public attention drawn to them by the awards process.
The case may be nominated only once. If multiple agencies work on a case, it is the responsibility of the nominator to coordinate with those agencies to submit one nomination.

The National Missing & Exploited Children’s Awards honor outstanding law enforcement professionals who have performed above and beyond the call of duty in safely recovering a missing child or successfully resolving a complex child sexual exploitation investigation.

The awards ceremony will be held May, 11 2023 at the International Spy Museum in Washington, DC.
