Nassau County's population is expected to nearly double in the next 25 years, reaching nearly 200,000 residents by 2050. This growth and a growing economic base will need to go somewhere. Growth scenarios can be used to determine how growth can be financially feasible, align with community values, and provide a resilient future.

Please take a few minutes to review the growth framework presentation and provide your input on the three scenarios. This preferred scenario will inform updates to the Future Land Use Map and the Future Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan.
