The City of McMinnville is creating a Housing Production Strategy (HPS)—an eight-year plan to address the housing needs of residents and workers. The HPS will focus on developing affordable, fair, and equitable housing, and the creation of a “toolkit” to encourage housing that is needed in McMinnville. The “toolkit” can consist of regulations, programs and incentives.
.
Your input will help us understand the community’s housing priorities, needs, and challenges. We are especially committed to reaching those who may not always participate in planning discussions, ensuring all voices are heard.
.
Your feedback will help shape the next steps in McMinnville’s housing efforts. Thank you for participating!

PLEASE NOTE: This survey will mention the phrase “affordable housing,” which means housing that is affordable to all economic segments of the population. Housing is considered affordable if it costs less than thirty percent of a family’s income (housing, property taxes and utilities). Data shows that McMinnville has both renters and home owners living in unaffordable housing situations, but the majority of households living in unaffordable housing are renters of lower incomes.
